We are Amos and Flint and we love
visiting at assisted living facilities and other
places and making people smile. We go to school with
Mom and the kids think we are twins. Being a therapy
dog is so much fun and Mom says we are truly angels
with fur. |

these young pups to stay in line. Right now this is play time for
us or play time for Pam. I get so excited when my bag is put in the
car and the leash comes out. I know where I am going.........to
make someone smile and laugh today and I will gets lots of pats and
brushing. These times are play times for us too..............lots

My name
is Cabal (Kuh-ball), but I like to be called
“Cabbie,” and I’m a tan and white Husky. I started
visiting as a Therapy Dog when I was 1 ½ years old
and love to be petted and get lots of attention. I
take an Agility class each week where I get to run
through tunnels, jump through hoops, and run in
circles. My mom says she does these things at work,
but I don’t think she has as much fun as I do. I
love to run really fast and chase squirrels. I am
learning to pull my mom on rollerblades and to pull
a cart so that I get plenty of exercise and sleep
all night. I am a working dog so I get bored and
need games and exercise to keep me happy. |

Hello, My
name is Chase and I am ready for a Halloween visit.
I am a rock star, green hair and feet and my own
guitar. I love making people smile. I visit children
in hospitals and grown ups in assisted living
facilities and hospitals. I am always ready to go
and never get tired. I love to give big sloppy
kisses to everyone. |

To introduce myself, I was adopted
by Goetz & Carolyn Eaton from the Anderson Animal Shelter in 2002. I
think that I joined SCDogs Therapy Group in late 2002 or 2003. I enjoy
visiting with the Group and making Patients happy and feel better in
Assisted Living Facilities and Rehabilitation Hospitals. I have visited
the Anderson County Drug Court graduation and encouraged the young
graduates to stay off Drugs and continue in school. I told them that I
was in a "Shelter" and got another chance to help people and they need
take the opportunity they got through the Drug Court to help their
friends stay off Drugs. I also visited the Anderson County Alternative
School and encouraged the Students to make something positive out of
their "second chance" as I did.
I love all my Friends in the SCDogs Therapy Group.
Sincerely, Cody

Hi! My name is Lucy, and I'm a
redbone coonhound. I am a gentle dog, and I look
forward to my therapy visits to rehab clinics and
assisted living homes. Retired farmers always smile
when they see me because I remind them of their
favorite hunting dogs. Everyone loves to pet me,
and they say my ears feel like velvet -- whatever
that is! |

Hi! My name is
Luke, and I'm a retired search and rescue bloodhound. I
have a new job as a therapy dog. The people I visit now
don't appear to be lost, but they love to feel my soft fur
and admire my long ears. This new job is easy! I
especially enjoy representing our group at special events.
My mom says I will soon be walking in a Christmas parade
with lots of other dogs, people, and music. It sounds like
a party! I love meeting other dogs and getting hugs from
small children. I'm quite large, but I'm loving and gentle. |

My name is
Maggie. I am a fox red Labrador retriever. I get
excited when I see my therapy vest and visiting bag
come out of the closet because I know it’s time to
go. It’s exciting to see old friends (both animal
and people) and it’s equally exciting to make new
friends and see new places. I really enjoy visiting
with children. Sometimes they throw a ball for me
and life couldn’t be better.

Hi! My name is Mister Bits and I'm a Welsh Pembroke Corgi. I
love being a therapy dog! I'm always smiling and love to
have my belly rubbed. I get so excited when I see my
visiting leash and collar because I know I'm going to meet
new friends. I'm the corgi on the left and my buddy, Sam, is
on the right. |

Howdy! My name is Sister Puppy but I usually
am called Sis. I'm an Australian Blue Heeler and love being
a therapy dog. I like meeting lots of people and especially
like having by belly rubbed. I can also do some tricks. At
home, I work on the farm helping bring the cattle to the
barn, and protecting the baby calves from coyotes. In the
photo, I'm watching the cattle being moved from one pasture
to another. FUN! |

My name is Skeeter.
I am a four-year-old Papillon. I may be smaller than most
of the other therapy dogs, but what I lack in size I make up
for in personality! This is what I looked like all dressed
up in my Halloween costume before going on an October SCDogs
therapy visit. Participating in obedience, rally, and
agility dog trials has earned me many titles. I live at
home with my three older "brothers"--two Labrador Retrievers
and another Papillon, where we all enjoy swimming and
fetching in the lake. |

Hi, I’m a yellow
Labrador retriever named Summer. I am 10 yrs. old and joined
the SCDogs group when I was two. When I meet people I expect
to be petted. Once on a walk we met a large group on a
mountain trail. My owner looked back to see where I was and
I was patiently going from person to person giving them time
to say hello and give me a pat. That’s my job – I’m a
therapy dog! On my therapy dog vest I have a saying that
speaks for all of my therapy dog friends, “I Work For Hugs
and Kisses!” |

My name is Sydney
and I’m a true to the core Jack Russell Terrier. I love
being a Jack and I love being a therapy dog. I love to act
cute and sweet and watch people melt when I wiggle my short
little tail. It’s hard work but somebody has to do it. Will
work for pets, that’s my motto. |

My name is Thlayli (Th-lay-lee
or Thlay-lee), but you can call me “Toaster.” I am a white
and black Papillon. I got my nickname because I don’t like
slick floors and when I do scary things that are very brave
like the see-saw at my school or walking on slick floors my
mom calls me a brave little toaster. My favorite game is
tug-o-war, but my mom says that I cheat because I always try
to take her end. I love to play and go for walks with my
family and visit with new friends, dogs and people. My eyes
look blue anytime my picture is taken, but they are actually
brown! I take Agility class each week and am learning to do
weave poles, jump through tires, and lots of fun things. I
get lots of treats and praise so I like to go to class. |

Hi! I'm Wilson, here I am at one of
my favorite visits. I just love kids! It's so cool
having so much attention. I enjoy visiting older
folks in nursing homes too, their faces light up
when I let them pet me. I even sneak in a kiss when
no one is looking! It is such fun going on visits as
a therapy dog, and I've met lots of new doggy pals
too! |

Hi, I'm the
Zackster! I am a Miniature Schnauzer who loves to
earn treats by doing tricks. So far I know how to
sit, lay down, stay and roll over. I can also dance
- both the bunny hop and twirling in a circle on my
hind legs! I have a fuzzy eyebrows that stick
straight up and a beard. My sister has a beard too -
how weird is that? |
